That was a hard night! The guy I played hadn't played for them for ages & was a very good seasoned player! He retrieved everything I chucked at him, and his boasts out of the corner....great racquet skills. Christopher Head's opponent had brilliant technique and played some real good stuff! Chris played well but his opponent was drafted in too. After a 1st good battle, the other games were good but not as evenly contested. Maidenhead definitely fielded a much stronger team to the two teams that had previous lost. Stuart was evenly matched but couldn't quite get his range or eye in - too many tins for a player of Stuart's calibre! Christopher Head's match was the tightest match of all playing a big power player who Chris matched all the way despite score. I think with some tighter shots Chris could of won that at ease - easy from the viewing stand though hey?? Mark played a few good rallies and tried his best and that showed at one point when he tried to run through the back wall and ending in a heap! He was OK to carry on but his opponent saw the game out. All in all from what I saw and encountered none of these guys fancied big rallies and opted to change the rally with big hits, looking for the nicks or cross courts when you think a rally down the lines is on, or a boast when your anchored on the T is no good to man or beast lol, all in all FORZA TSC good grub too!
Final score Maidenhead 20 Tadley 0
